About 6kms away from the holy city, Someshwar temple dedicated to Mahadeva is considered as one of the oldest temples sitting on the banks of river Godavari.

Wani
Set atop a hill about 52kms from the city, Wani is famous for the temple of Sapatashrungi Mata. Devotees throng in large numbers during the fair which is usually held in April every year.
